After re-reading your load...let me clarify:

FACT: Pye was crying after the provincials and told her teammates that she did NOT want to go. Her dad made her. FACT: Yes, a veteran was cut at the last tryout. This happens.
FACT:Yes, Christine went to Stoney Creek.
FACT: No, her dad is still with our team as team athletic therapist, and dry land co-ordinator.

There...let's move on now shall we...
