What would you do

The situation is we live a considerable distance outside of the GTA and our daughter wants to play on a Midget AA team. We attend several 1st tryout sessions and after the second tryout the Toronto Aeros Midget AA team and coach commits to sign my daughter during the after skate meeting. We have to find a place for her to live but that should not be much of a issue since we have family in the GTA. As a result of the Aeros commitment we call the other teams she is trying out at to say she won't be attending further tryouts. The Aeros post their team is picked and the next practice is closed to team members. After all the other teams 2nd tryout dates have passed we receive a call from Darryl Giancola the coach for the Aeros who indicates my daughter is now cut. (My daughter was packing to get ready to leave for the friday practice.) By waiting until this date it has pretty much eliminated her chances to make another team since she will have missed one or more of their tryout sessions.
