Instead of debating the merits of age why not let skill and ability prevail. As players mature, the gap narrows quite considerably. If the coaching staff took time to look at the player and concluded that she was good enough, that is all that should matter. If she takes time to develop into the player that is forecast for her then so beit. It is okay to criticize, but until she has been seen and judged for her efforts against the competition, it is a moot point right now.
