These two centres don't see eye to eye. What do you expect? SC joined NMGHL and NIagara is always a piller in SWGHL. I can tell you Niag has already been jobbed by tenders moving the posts in these playdowns(ask Kitchener). Seems like monkey see-monkey -do. However Niagara has proven the better team in the OWG playdowns with no surprise. For the past 4 years or more Coach Collee Rapids have beaten and advancecd to OWHA All Ontario and sent Stoney Creek packing inspite of their success in NMGHL. Does this sound familiar Markham and Durham. So along comes the OWHA last year and exempts Durham into provincials, like they should have done for Stoney Creek for the same reasons.
They didn't and OWHA again broke constitution, one more time!!
If this doesn't send alarms, flashing lights and summons a crash cart that provincials are in need of a drastic overhaul nothing will. So long as OWHA continues to put it's head in the sand , the provincials are not emblematic of unquestionably the best.
We submit, every team to be rated by OWHA(not the clubs), finishing with qualifiers to arrive at a final 8 full round robin to be crowned "Gold". Until then expect OWHA to work the backdoor!!!!
