I agree with most of what Seymourhockey said. My daughter had a very enjoyable experience and made a lot of friends with girls from opposing teams. She also received letters from the ivy league schools which didn't hurt. Personnaly, I don't care about the money. Competitive hockey is not a nickle and dime operation and if it bothers you - don't pay it. Prospects puts on a pretty good "tournament" which is enjoyed by a lot of girls. We all have to earn money somehow but you still have the option of not participating.
My only issue with the whole process was they way they built it up to be only open to the "elite" of girls hockey. Most of the girls were of a very high calibre but I suspect that in some cases they needed to fill the rosters and the "less then capable" were also included.
