Junior AA "Top Ten this Week"-----week 18

Well it's been 17 weeks of fun, but now the contenders start rolling. Teams desperate to get some respect will surprise but they won't escape our eyes. Would you have predicted the Aeros fall from grace. But they can recover…still lots of time!
      Here we go--

      1. Bluewater(1) is playing catch up in regular season. Problem is they have had a hectic schedule, so getting up for every game will be a chore. Dropping an occasional game should be expected but we think the pride will prevail. How about a name change….everyone seems to be a hawk!

2.Mississauga(2) -likes to trounce opposition it expects to. History shows they're 50-50 in pressure situations as long as they don't count on their personal stats. Too many star gazers and not enough warriors, but the ones they got are good warriors.

3.Markham(3) Victory over NCCP tells us your still serious. This team is loads of experience when the pressure is on. Short of the AA gold medal, if you beat them nobody will be left standing to enjoy the victory.

4.NCCP(4) Geez I wish these guys were closer. All players are on the same page and the standouts are noticeabley humble. A rare commodity in elite sports today.

5.Stoney Creek(8) will they or won’t they only their trainers know for sure. A pair of Lopsided victories against Leaside should set up the perfect Game, except they weren't BOTH lopsided. Got to concentrate on reeling in the mavericks who persist on costing you games because you can't shoot from the penalty box.

6.Cambride(5) Continues to play decent. Desire and aggressiveness is apparent but we think you take too many over aggressive penalties. Maybe this costs you when you travel to tournaments and the refs get a good look.

7.London (7) Size isn’t your strong point but when the injury factor comes in, your short on horses. Destined to finish 4th in league but we think you'll rebound. GAA factor -but your goalies are performing well. Your probably not used to the elite play ,having had your way in past years.

8.Etobicoke(-) Welcome fish, they must have had an change of heart. Nobody brags anymore, just goes about business of gaining the respect you guys had years ago. Expect a 3rd place league finish.

9.Windsor(10) Can the Southwest all stars do it for the cats. Yes they can 2 steps forward, 1 step back. GAA holds but they can't get the offence going when it means something, or stick to shinny.

10.Hamilton(10) These guys knocked the Aeros out for the count and will continue to surprise if you take 'em for granted. Getting a sub 2.00 gaa which either your goalies can or can't will dictate where you finish. They seem to have a purpose and team cohesiveness is apparent.
