While I didn't see any of their earlier games, the final was a good game of hockey for both teams. The whole Aeros team is loaded with talent, but having scored all four goals, clearly number 14 is someone to watch. Was she on last year's team, I can't recall?

I may be wrong but I think that Courtney Birchard played on a boys team last season. Actually, the pivotal game was the semi-final against Clearview; the first time this season that the Aeros have put together the kind of game they're capable of against an equally strong opponent. You can expect Clearview not to take that defeat lying down. One disappointed team has to be Etobicoke whose first game, a 4-0 win against Kitchener, didn't count in their group standings, a set-up that I still don't understand. They fell flat after that; two ties against Markham and Sarnia, I think, and a 3-0 loss to Brampton.

Courtney Birchard has played for a boys team for the last few years. She only in grade 9....definately someone to watch. Congrats Aeros...from the Etobicoke Dolphins.

Brampton made it to the finals by swarming and gooning.
No skill. They sent an Etobicoke player to the hospital by Ambulance. What are those coaches teaching their girls? Aeros deserved the gold. That's a team with talent and great hockey skills.

I'm pretty sure Etobicoke proved it wednesday by beating Brampton *2-1*. You said that we would see on Wednesday and we did.
