Just thought I'd point out that all the Charlton covers are images taken from the interior stories, used as such so Charlton could save money and not pay the artist for a new cover! I don't think Ditko had anything to do with the designs, although some of them do look nice. The Unusual Tales with the story that takes place in the south is a beauty! Ditko was working in a very detailed style and this story was one of his finest.

This is why we separated these covers from our regular feature of "Cover for the Day"; these are Ditko, but as you say, were not designed as covers. Some of them will undoubtedly sneak through, even with Marvel, as they yanked a panel and blew it up/printed it at full-size also (I think). Any info toward this end is appreciated.
BTW, did you forget to bring your CFTD assignment?
..so I'll drop it off here, even though its design alone warrants a CFTD all its own. Does anyone have this issue to confirm if these are images from the guts of this book?
If I recall correctly, that is an all-new Ditko cover. Around this time period Charlton began using many new material covers and Ditko's were some of the very best ones.
