Tough one without knowing the condition of the pump and rest of your e4od. Basically there is a pump correction package that will apply more oil flow for the converter clutch eliminating slippage by rerouteing oil flow...if your clutch material and pump are still in good shape. If you drive hard the next problem after pump mod is a balloning of a stock type converters cover. Answer to it all is a billet cover torque converter with better than factory clutch material with pump correction package. All assuming the pump itself is still in good shape and your not loseing oil pressure anywhere else, like excessive clearance in the direct, reverse, and coast clutch packs or seal leakage there. With pulling it out for a converter, the pump is right there, but you need special tools to pull it. If i can help further email me boss302(removeme)@safe-mail.net. We can sort out what year and mileage details and the best way to go from there. Once it's corrected, the results can be posted for others.
