well i finally took the accumulator off

i got off my lazy butt today and pulled the pan on my hard shifing e4od. i pulled the accomulator off and took it apart.what i found were most of the springs are painted and if i am right they would be from a shift kit?
my question is what can i do to take it back to stock?i dont tow and the slam shifting is annoying.if i replaced all the springs with stock ones where would i buy them??is a shift kit used as a unit and if i alter the accumulator springs the rest wont work right??or should i shut up and buy a neck brace?
