Response to Re: aod

Thank you for the help again Silverfox and Bob.
I try to detect which Valvebody version i have or rather
the year of my AOD production.

Here are a few pics of the valvebody version i have:

Here is an other Valvebody i get from a friend,
think it is an older version, because of the number on it:

As you can see my E9 Valvebody has no holes for the 3-4
accumulator in the Transmission Case, but there is a
3-4 accumulator in the case and i have a thrust washer
between reverse and forward clutch, not a torrington
bearing as on the newer version.

On my Transmission and tailshaft housing is also a E9
marking.

Is the newer and older valvebody interchangable,
which one should i choose to buy?

I know, lot of strange variations at my transmission.
But it is not easy to get one in germany, so i am happy
to have this and now i must try to get it runing.
Hope you help me one more.

Patrick
