Hi,
i have news about my transmission.
Opened the 1987 VB yesterday, it was complete but full of debris.
So i decide to test it better with the 1990 vb again.
I installed the TV Valve Springs, 2-3 Shift Valve Springs and
TV Maximum Pressure springs from the 1987 VB in the 1990 VB.
Also i installed the right gasket with the cutout between Manual Valve and TV Valve in the 1990 vb.
Now the transmission shifts down from 3-2 but at a to low speed,
approx. at ~10mph.
It also shifts down when i make a kickdown.
Not perfect, but after all, it shift down
I am really happy about this.
Maybe the late downshift is because the TV Pressure is a little bit
high in idle. I adjust this tomorrow.
