clutch pedal height adjustment (70 mustang)

I just installed a 4 spd toploader in my '70 mustang (conversion from C4) , now the clutch pedal is too far up.
Do I need to mount anything extra to stop the excessive pedal travel which is not already there on my pedal assembly ?
I have tried to find me an exploded view of such but was unable to find one of the right year.
