I have a 64 comet 289 w/Merc-o-matic 3-speed. 2nd gear would sqeal if you got on it to hard. Anyway, my son(teenage) was driving it and now it won't move forward or reverse. He was in the trottle alittle to hard when it shifted from 1 to 2nd. Question I have is I have a 87 5.0 w/AOD out of a van. Will this tranny bolt up to my 289 or would this turn out to be a nightmare. Thanks, Ryan
