What would be the symptoms if the TC lockup mechanism were to malfuntion and stay locked up permanently? Would this cause poor acceleration and excessive heat that would burn the fluid? Just wondering... I will probably drop the transmission and take it to a shop to get it looked over, but I wanted to know what I should expect. Thanks.
