| Good manuals are available at any Mustang restoration site -- look for say a 1970 Mustang. The complete FMX diagnostic and repair is detailed with pics.
ATSG (Automatic Transmission Service Group) reprints the Ford step-by-step in their manual and add a few more charts to the mix. Those are available online, JCWhitney, Amazon, etc..., and any transmission parts supplier such as Transtar.
