this valve is two piece outer sleve and inner spool any way it wears out and couses week or delayed shift .some have orings on the outer sleve some models delete the orings and have a tighter fit to overcome leekage it would be advisable on instalation of a valve bodie reprogaming kit (shift kit )to install one . most kits do not include them. they also make a special one for use when doing a wide ratio convertion. hope this satisfies your interest.
