C4 downshifting early

Yes, JPT definitely installed a shift kit in the vb for me and the pin is the original from the C4. I'll have to pull it to measure.

Wouldn't backing out the modulator valve screw serve the same purpose as installing a shorter pin?

What is the recommended stripe colour on the modulator?
