I went to the trans shop to get a new plate. the tells me that it is going to make 1-2 shifts hard. He told me to JB weld the dimple and put it back together.
I bought the plate anyway but now I'm reading that comments like "whiplash" shifts 1-2
It's a SHIFT Technology Super tough plate.
do you know anything about them?
Edit: Now I see, it is the same thing you recommended. 1-2 shifts OK? It also says to install the cap on the 2-3 accumulator with "trans jelly"?? Grape or apple?
will any grease do?
