I guess I wasn't clear about my TV cable/pressure adjustment-
I set the TV pressure @ 4PSI @ 1000RPM, without the gauge block. (warm trans in neutral)
After the 4PSI inital adjustment, just for the hell of it, I installed the gauge block in the cable @ 1000RPM, it read 39PSI and then returned back to 4PSI when the block was removed.
I'm now very happy with the way the trans shifts, although I'm pretty unhappy with the Lokar TV cable bracket set up.
I'm probably going to make my own TV cable bracket that will mount to the intake bosses and not the left rear carb mounting stud/nut.
I'm still working on the cable/carb linkage geometry.
If I understand you correctly, I can decrease the pivot arc at the trans to match the short carb pivot?
I just don't floor it.......
Thanks, and I'm open to all suggestions.
