e40d-c6 internals swap

I can't seem to find anything on this particular part so I'll ask.

I am rebuilding a C6 and am swapping in the E4OD sunshell thru' the front planetary to get the lower gear ratio. The problem that I am having is-I have the High/Reverse drum from three different transmission bu the only one that doesn't have some level of damage/wear is the drum from the E4OD. Can I substitute this drum into the C6 without causing any problems? Obviously I don't want to use worn/damaged parts and I don't really want to have to buy a new High/Reverse drum but I guess if it comes to that I will.
