Let me rephrase this. I pushed the gas pedal all the way down eating into the carpet, adjusted the bellcrank kickdown tab by placing a 1/8" piece of stock between the tab and rod lever at the rod limit position. I then adjusted wide open throttle to this position. This should give me 1/8" more travel of the kickdown rod at wide open throttle. I'll adjust one turn at a time starting from this point either up or down considering what it does. I'd still like to know if transmission kickdown at slower speeds is a function of something other than the accelerator passing gear kickdown rod.
