this is my first post on this site and I have a good curly first question!
Can anyone remember from at least 10 years ago an electric/electronic servo shifter that shifted gears via a dash mounted control unit? It did away with the factory linkages/shifter.
I first saw it in Custom Rodder mag (I think), now defunct and it would make a permanent fix to my 63 Galaxie jumping out of Park and into Reverse....
In the magazine article, i think it was tested on a 64 Gal.
The mechanism was mounted directly to the trans under the tunnel and the control unit was under the dash.
Am chasing responses to the Brand name and availability and success of this unit if anyone remembers it !!!
