I have a friend performing the "J Mods" on an AODE utilizing some of the required hard parts from the 4R70W.
The mods call for a 1-2 Accumulator spring . Ford part # F75Z-7F284-BA and OD Servo Return spring Ford part # F87Z-7F201-AA. Or the last spring can be F2VY-7F201-A.
Ford shows no stock and will have to order them in from the US which is over a week or so.
We do have access to a trans shop where we can sift through AODE springs but without knowing what colour they should be it will be useless.
Ford could not provide us with a colour code for each of the above springs and said basically they wouldn't know the colour until they arrive.
Can anyone help with the colour codes of these springs?
