While at the races last night on first round my tranny acted up. I had installed a tranco shift kit a few years ago, and has worked fine. This is the problem now. If I start in drive at idle it doesn't seem to engage. If I move to 1st gear it wants to go backwards and when I raise the RPM it goes forward. While driving the 1st to 2nd gear shift is soft but the 2nd to 3rd gear seems to be the same. Is this a valve problem or is it some place else?
