hello guys i am new to this forum. i have a question about a c-4 i just finished rebuilding. when i select a gear it is very hard to turn over by hand. i am using an extra yoke to do this with. i was wondering what is causing this problem. any help is appreciated.
If it is on the bench it does not matter what gear is selected the output and input shafts should turn.
The output shaft will a bit stiffer in one direction vs the other.
The input shaft can be turned by hand.
You have a negative end clearance problem or a clutch plate has slipped out of position.
