Where can I find a filter extension for a c6?

My cousin just got his street/strip truck done, but the trans builder put a deep pan on it with a standard filter on it. The trans shifts fine if you are driving normal and perfectly level, but once its accelerating hard, the trans basically starts to almost free wheel and doesn't shift either. We kept adding fluid until it was WAY over full, and now that problem is gone. But, it can't be good for the fluid level to be so high. So, where can we get a filter extension for the 4x4 c6 filters? I know they come with all the aftermarket pans, but it doesn't appear that they are available seperately.

Get a filter for a Bronco.
It's the same shape but has a port with a gromet that uses a pickup tube.

Stuart,
Thats what I have in my transmission, but a buddy of mine machined the tube. We actually need the tube too for the filter. I haven't been able to find a filter that came with the tube or just a tube anywhere?
