I have a 1990 Ford Bronco 4x4 (fullsize) with the 5.0 and the E4OD trans. Mine is toast. I have a friend who has a 1994 F150 4wd pick up with a E4OD in it with the 5.8 . Can I use his transmission in my Bronco?

Probably. So far as I know any small block 4x4 E4OD through 1995 will work. The only possible issues would be the connector for the wiring harness and the manual control lever.
