I'm ready to buy a C6 rebuild kit and could use some advice. My C6 is going into a 1968 Ford F100 Ranger with a slightly warmed over 390. It will be street driven and not raced. Should I buy a standard rebuild kit from my local NAPA store or go with a high performance kit? There is a vendor on EBay that sells a nice kit. They have great feedback. The kit has ALTO Red Eagle Friction Clutches, band and Kolene Steels for $259.50. Is this a quality kit for the money or is it more than I need?

A standard kit will be all you need.
