So get out and do it! I finally have my brother coming to Fort Dodge to paddle Lizard Creek today. We will paddle from the boys ranch bridge to the Des Moines river, and will start about 1:30 this afternoon. Anyone else is welcome to join us. My cousin will be looking for first scratches on his new Souris River canoe, while the Fletcher brothers will attempt a repeat of their famous inverted trip down Lower Basswood falls.
Weather is perfect, water levels are great! A good weekend for Iowa paddlers!
Shucks!!! I missed it , was cleaning up with the project AWARE, and had a great time!!! Even learned a few things!
