Floated from Cedar Creek access down to Eveland Access Sept 5. Nice float, except for the whitecaps going upriver! The stretch of Cedar Creek we were on that boundaries Cedar Bluff rec area was beautiful. Lots of assorted birds, but barely deep enough to float the kayaks. The river stretch was unimpressive. Too many cabins on both sides.
Planning on doing some floats early october with the idea of jump shooting geese out of kayak. Anybody interested? Probably do Eddyville to Chilicothe. Did it last year, didn't see any geese that day, but caught a lot of white bass and shot some pigeons underneath bridges. Good float/hunt/fish.
