APALIT, Pampanga — Scores of fanatic followers of the Ang Dating Daan (ADD) and Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) were injured when they clashed during their leaders’ scheduled debate at the Jollibee restaurant in this town last April 18, it was reported.
Apalit Mayor Tirso Lacanilao said that the issue over the rumble involving many followers of the two Christiam religious groups and a number of bystanders remained unresolved up to yesterday, noting that the leaders of the two groups have accused some policemen of alleged partiality in the investigation of the incident.
The mayor said that some ADD leaders had said that they do not trust the local policemen, prompting Lacanilao to comment that "if they do not trust our policemen, how can they trust local officials."
Investigation showed that the rumble erupted after a team of policemen led by the deputy chief of the town’s police station, Inspector Ruben Chua went to the Jollibee restaurant, the site of the scheduled debate, and tried to stop the holding of the debate for lack of a mayor’s permit.
Mayor Lacanilao had instructed the town’s chief of police, Chief Inspector Marcelo Dayag, to transfer the venue of the debate either at the ADD convention center or at the INC chapel in an effort to prevent any trouble.
Police said the ADD leaders insisted on pushing through with the debate, telling the police that "hindi naman magkakagulo (there will be no trouble)."
Shortly after that, however, a free-for-all erupted when an ADD follower identified, only as "Mataro," shouted. This reportedly provoked some INC followers to a confrontation over the venue of the debate.
Policemen led by Dayag tried to pacify the irate followers of both groups by separating them, Lacanilao said.

They can't prove their accusations, they sometimes rely on gossips and false assumptions. For your information, wala pong turo sa INC na gumawa ng mga ganyang bagay. Sakaling may mga miembro o mga taong gumawa ng mga ganyan, hindi po tinotolerate or kinukunsinti ang ganyang gawa sa loob ng Iglesiya. Ang mga ganyang bagay ay may aksyung kaukulan dahil inaalis o itinitiwalag ang mga masasama at ayaw magbago.

Taas noong tumuligsa ang mga ito na para bagang ang mga members ng INC ay hindi aware sa mga nangyayari.
Kung pwedeng gawin ito sa mga members ng ADD ( na hindi nagsusuri ), di po pwede ito sa mga readers dito, lalo na mga INC.
