The "Members Church of God International" or ADD has its roots in the Iglesia Ni Cristo(INC) itself. In 1922 or eight years after INC’s founding, member Nicolas Perez and one Teofila Ora broke away from the group and formed the Iglesia Verdadero de Cristo.Both invoked a doctrinal basis for their breakaway. To them, Jesus Christ was Mighty God, but not the Almighty God as opposed to INC's doctrine that Jesus was not God. The INC contends that there was no breakaway and that Perez was expelled from the organization.The Perez-Ora partnership was short-lived. Differences in beliefs and teachings emerged, and they eventually parted ways. Perez set up the splinter group Iglesia ng Diyos kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Suhay ng Katotohanan. It was this spin-off religious group that enchanted then 17-year-old Eli Soriano, who quickly took to memorizing passages in the Bible. Brother Eli believed, or was led to believe, that he would succeed Perez. He was therefore stunned when Levita Gugulan took over the vacancy when Perez died. He rebelled against Gugulan and, in 1977, left the church that Perez founded, taking along a number of followers. However, Iglesia Ni Cristo claims that Brother Eli did not break away; Gugulan expelled him. Brother Eli registered his new group under the name Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Saligan ng Katotohanan(The Church of God in Christ Jesus, The Pillar and Ground of the Truth). The new name hewed closely to that of Gugulan’s faction, prompting Gugulan to file a lawsuit against Brother Eli. His group lost in 1988 and 1995 and was ordered to change its church name that is not similar or identical to a name already used by the petitioner[1]. Brother Eli filed an appeal on December 1995 but lost the case after the Associate Justices in Court of Appeals denied his appeal in 1997. The decision was finalized in 2001 by the Supreme Court of the Philippines. Brother Eli's group had to undergo two name changes, the "Bayan ng Katotohanan"(City of Truth) and the “Iglesia ni YHWH at ni YHWSA HMSYH” in a span of four years. On January 13, 2004 he decided to register another name, Members Church of God International.
This Members Church of God International is famous in the Philippines for having a leader that has the most number of contradictory teachings and doctrines.

Sana mailagay d'yan yung ukol sa isa sa mga dahilan ng pagtatag ni Perez ng sariling Iglesia ay awayan sa truck. Laging ginagamit ni Teofila Ora yung truck na pag-aari ni Perez, tapos ibinabalik na ni hindi pinakakargahan ng gas kaya sa inis nitong si Perez umalis sya sa samahan ni Ora at nagtatag ng sarili nyang samahan.

Siguro po ay dahil sa hindi na kilangan pang sabihin na marami talagang kontrahang turo si Soriano dahil alam na alam na naman ng buong Pilipinas na gayun nga.

May kilala akong bobo, kung magpakilala ay "dukhang pantas na lalaki". Dukha daw, bilyonaryo naman. Pantas daw e GRAMMATICIAN naman, kung magturo ay puro lisya at kapalpakan.
