Interesting but hard to tell for me anyway if it is the real deal or some reproduction or somewhere inbetween... It looks as if it was cast, welded, and forged. The screw looks like it was machined with moderned tools as to how perfect it is, and maybe a replacement... If maybe the seller didn't have such grainy pictures one could tell more.

This Lillie is not small. It is typical size for this cuff.

Thanks for the info, the other Don is from MO, I've had these cuffs for over
15 years and found out what they were about 4 months ago. An uncle gave them
to me for payment. I don't think he new what they were either. I found your forum and someone had some lilly's he said were small, like for a child or woman, I'm not a big guy and these are very tight on me so I thought these were the small ones also. My error. (sorry) any I'm not a collector and thought I would get rid of them. Thanks for the input.

how small were the people back then. i had one Antique Dealer tell me that a Reproduction pair of Handcuffs were Old and that i was wrong on Them Being Handcuffs and she claimed they were Leg Irons and Her Husband Researched them. I Wonder if her husband ever seen the made in india stamp on them.
