what a couple of STUPID idiots you are as the so called paperweight is EXACTLY what i state it is... oh but i forgot -- YOU think that you are GODS gift to the world !!!! joe tanner
So, it's angry Joe Tanner (LMAO!!!!!) - someone who should know better! When given a choice between accuracy/honesty and dishonesty, you chose the latter. And, you have the cheek to complain about the accuracy of other seller's listings on ebay! Shame on you! Money must be awfully tight these days.
BTW, they look like a pair of homemade knucklers.

hi to all anonymous
have the guts to place your name on your topic
or go playing some where else
the childrens place or somthing like that
the only reason is why you don't put your name on it is that you really don't know what you talk about
but it looks like a little interesting if you are anonymous
go play somewhere else and let the real collecting bizz to us
It is my right to remain anonymous. For some reason, that bothers people like you, which makes me laugh. And you listing a name "handboeinfreak" (nice name!) makes you no expert. Regarding knowing what I'm talking about: Look up the item #'s and compare the listing language with the actual products. If you can't see fraud written all over it, then you are no stranger to dishonesty, either.
Well, it is Keyword Spamming, as the item has nothing to do with AL CAPONE, executions, or handcuffs. That could cause the item to be killed by eBay and the seller gigged.
It is also a banned item. It violates eBay's weapons policy. Calling knuckle dusters a paperweight doesn't negate the fact that they are eBay illegal. That can get the auction cancelled and the seller gigged by eBay.
Come on guys, leave Joe alone. I am sure that most of us have done business with him either through Wheeler/Tanner or through his "retired again" eBay gig(I know that I have done both). If you don't like how he lists his items, then don't bid on them, it is as simple as that. Joe is a good guy to do business with; he is sometimes the only guy that can get a hold of that rare key, handcuff, or related item you have been looking for, so please cut him some slack. Thanks.
Cheers, Mike

Compare this: RANKIN civil war military shackle handcuffs leg irons Item number: 140223226008 with "padlocing" handcuffs, below from April 19.
thanks to one & all -- good & bad ...for those people who may not know or understand the most simplest things & those who think that they are GODs gift to the world -- PLEASE READ -- to some it may be SPAMMING, but to MANY MANY others it is not... i was told by EBAY personal - themselves that the words that are put in your TITLE -- ARE -- the KEY words that dictate what searchers are looking for... if you have the word CAPONE in the title, then anyone that searches CAPONE will bring up my auction even if they are searching CHILDRENS shoes.... i will type slow now so that you can stay with me & HOPEFULLY grasp with your tiny brain what i am saying....now stay with me here.... so if a western collector who really just collects SPURS does a search for SPURS & IF i have the word CAPONE HANDCUFFS SPURS in my TITLE then he will pull up MY auction ... stay with me now -- he may just decide to CLICK into my item just to check it out & WOW !!! he thinks to himself - gee THESE HANDCUFFS would look nice with my display of spurs !!! HE BIDS & BUYS !!! as long as i DO NOT lie in my description & i DON'T - contary to what some of you A's think.....
so on & so on.... did i state in my description that CAPONE used them ??? i COULD have stated that knucs were popular in CAPONEs days & era etc etc because they WERE !!! almost the end of this lesson so stay with me - esp the pea brain people.... also pre EBAY personal, generaly ALMOST ALL items have spamming because if the title contains more then one or 2 words - the rest are spamming words -- HANDCUFFS HANDCUFF -- would be correct, but not HANDCUFFS HANDCUFF POLICE PRISON etc because they are ONLY --- HANDCUFFS --- they are NOT -- POLICE -- now are they.... also, with the exception of certain named items, basically the most general way that items get KICKED off EBAY -- is IF someone reports the seller & of course we know some people on this forom just can't stand to be bettered by other person -- so they report.... just a i TRYED to pay SANTINI a compliment by stating that the leather covered items from by way of him... he did not like it so i am sure that HE reported me & the item got pulled.... so i relisted it alittle different for his benefit....... so for some of you -- say what you want, because i really don't give a flying F .... joe
Why do you waste the time of collectors looking for a Rankin, when what you list is an animal shackle and has nothing to do with Rankin. Your description is deceptive at best.
Your shipping charges are 2 to 3 times waht they should be. You can ship by USPS fixed price box for almost anything you sell. The price is under $ 10.00
ANNOYING ::: well you can rage more later as i have THREE more of your so called animal thing a ma gigs to sell down the road.... until someone proves to me that a shackle of this type or the type that PAMELA has that she inquired on this forum about is in fact a animal thing -- they are human restraints.... JOE has his opinion & i have mine -- right or wrong.... which -- maybe both right - maybe both wrong.... you charge what you want for shipping & handling & i will charge what i want... joe
Me thinks your memory is gone. The page from the early sears catalog, with pictures, proves that these items were sold as animal restraints, not human restraints.
