Dear Martin,
I don't believe the answer you received from "matt" is correct regarding when Peerless Made/Marketed the Model 300?
I'm no expert but as "I understand" the Peerless Evolution in during the 1980's/1990's is this.
Peerless Produced basically the same Handcuff as the model 300 But it was only later marked/Marketed as the Model 300 in the Early to Mid 1990's as the Model 300. Around 1995 they made the model 400 which than was quickly followed by the 500 in 3 variations and a couple of what are called the Model 600 prototypes that slipped out which had a keyhole that pointed in a different direction than the usual configuration.
Then in the late 1990's the Model 700 was born with it's protruding rivets on the cuff body.
Joe's listing might confuse or help you but I think this doesn't include the Model 300's as I understand it or don't ??

I just hope your answer to the Smith & Wesson Question is answered with someone who has more authority or understanding than the reply you received to your Peerless Question?
