Journey to 1000http://www.journeyto1000.org is my one man attempt to raise awareness and funds for Take Back The Night (a movement against the rape and abuse of women worldwide) in memory of Nicole Joslyn and Alan Lowrie, who were murdered 10/24/2004.

I hope to accomplish this by selling 1000 copies of my poetry book ...and yet you continue to provoke the night and donating 100% of the author royalties.

Yes, I may agree that cuff collectors and poets usually don't hang out with each other at the same bar, but I see that you are passionate in both endeavors.
