re:field and son cuffs on ebay uk

hi, is there any significance on these cuffs being stamped field and son and not field and sons. sorry, i'm quite new to this and interested in bidding on them. the item no is 180423275304 on ebay uk. any help or info - thanks for your previous replies - pete

hi, i appreciate what you're saying but was hoping someone would help me with some info on these cuffs stamped field and son not sons, and i would say most collectors would look on ebay from time to time anyway and not all be interested in the same items - any help or info appreciated

Stamping on a curved surface

Quite often the cuffs are mis-stamped. It's not easy on a curved surface and often it takes more than one go at it. This explains why HIATT sometimes has one T and sometimes has 3 !. I guess with the cuff your talking about the last S missed.

IF THE KEY IS MARKED HAITT THEN IT PROBLY IS NOT ORIGINAL ,BUT THAT MY ALSO BE REASON IT ONLY IS OPENING ONE SIDE
ASK SELLER IF BOTH STEMS ARE VISIABLE WHEN LOOKING IN KEYHOLEAND CAN HE SEE THREADING
