Jail Breaking

This is a subject where there is not much information. I have written Vol. 1 of two Volumes. The set up! Everyone wants to know how to get out of a jail but the big secret is how do you get in?
I have put Vol. 1 in E mail form. It is free to anyone who would like to have a copy.
Just reply to Rosabellhh@aol.com Jail Breaking

There will be one more on by pass of a jail lock to add to the knowledge pool.

As one of the contributors to Norman Bigelow's Jailbreaking Manual, I appreciated Norm's insight into this unique and in many ways, underground area of Escapology.

As a professional performer, and one who has accomplished numerous Legitimate jailbreaks over the years, I can not only attest to the difficulty of accomplishing such an escape, but also in this day and age of intense suspicion and scrutiny by the Authorities, to allow an Escape Artist to test one's mettle ...The jailBreak is becoming more and more of a rarity.

While others in Norm's manuscript speak of employing the use of a cell key or the use of an unlocked cell as a cabinet;... This is something that I personally would never resort to using. A twist that some performers are employing today involves using their own locks, manacles and chains to have the cell door fastened shut while performing the escape in full view,...Again to me as im sure it does to many This creates a lack of credibility on the part of the performer and throws the entire act of said escape into Question.

Another twist is to attempt the jailbreak in full view. This is an idea that I was confronted with by the press as far back as the 1980's; but I felt then as I do today that some things should be left to the imagination and remain in the unknown.

Houdini called the jailbreak one of the crowning achievements of the Escape artist trade. Because of the times that we live in, I feel that modern day jailbreaking is becoming the stuff of legends due to the security and restraints that are imposed by Todays correctional and law enforcement agencies.

Hopefully cooler heads will prevail and allow performers to challenge the man-made bonds of iron and steel in the future.

Congratulations Norman Bigelow on yet another informative manuscript for the escape field.
