More headshots

I found an even easier solution to the headshots than learning to do David's magic. I don't think I'm as good as David, anyway. LOL What I found was a program called PortraitProfessional. It cost me $89, so it was quite reasonable. (I used a discount code from Outdoor Photographer magazine if anyone's interested.)

Anyway, here's a couple of versions of a picture I took of my wife a few minutes ago. BTW, David, I went and got a snoot, and that does a good job keeping the hair light from spilling on the shoulders. Though, with the white shirt in this picture, you really can't tell.

Here's the picture right out of the camera except for cropping, levels, and resizing.

And here's what the program can do, including face reshaping. I wouldn't go this far with a headshot, BTW.

And it only took about 5 minutes to do that. Now I just need to get some customers in here!

Not sure when you bought it or where... limited time online save $30 for v9

Edit - looking again I see a Standard and Studio version, so maybe you went with Studio and got a little extra off- since it reads DNG and RAW- http://www.portraitprofessional.com/editions/

Yes, that's where I got it, and yes, I bought the studio version for the reason you mention - it opens dng and nef. The discount from Outdoor Photographer is 10%, I believe.
