It's people who focus the blame on one person (Stalin, Hitler, bin Laden, Bush), who ultimately do their bidding. You represent the excuse maker, the person who can't be held accountable for his own behavior. The person who is self-righteous and above it all in times of trouble, and quick to blame one person for the injustices of others.
I blame the complicity of the German people for Hitler's atrocities, the Russians for Stalin's, the Cambodians for Pol Pot's, the Islamic radicals for bin Laden's. I blame the greed of shareholders, fund managers, investment bankers and the laziness of the accounting profession for the financial collapse of Enron, WorldCom, and Parmalat. I blame the lack of personal accountability - and the culture that feeds off of it - as the root cause of the world's problems.
Your focus is shortsighted. Your solutions are cheap. Your assessment of the War on Terror is lazy.
