Response to That damned 'ol artillery shell IED remains a problem for the defeatists
Heard this morning on MSNBC, that "nobody in the press corps cares" about the single artillery-shell containing a gallon of sarin. It's only one, after all...there probably aren't any more, or else, Hussein and his troops would have used them on us. You see? Plus, the "fact of the matter" is that the US "must prove Hussein was in possession of large stockpiles of such weapons, and that he intended to use them on his neighbors, as well as furnish them to other terrorist organizations."
Regarding WMD, it is clear, there will never be enough evidence to show this was a credible threat. Even if we find a mountain of such shells, well, we probably made them and planted them ourselves, right down to the artificial aging-process to make them look authentic. I've actually heard this said, so don't laugh.
