Response to Short-term memory issues?
.....In the first example, I'm not seeing the problem. I mean, there's no doubt in my mind you are waiting for the day to say, "see, I told you so". You're drooling for it...more than anything, you want to be able to say, "see Canada, you too are hated by the Islamofascists...just as much as we Americans are"... you want that so bad, somehow it will make you feel good that it's not just Americans hated by these crazies. You know it, I know.. it's not like it's a big secret. This would also justify your thinking, somehow that Canada betrayed the US when it stood by its principles, doing what it believed was right for Canada...again, you'll be able to say, "see Canada, I, Octopus of all knowledge, I TOLD YOU SO, DAMMIT!!!" With that said, no where in there did I call you a Nazi.
.....As for the second example, it's simply a response, in general, to the replies you and others have given with regards to Baghdad being the first stop along the way of dealing with the problems of the Middle East, and the World. As in, "why Iraq, why not North Korea, Iran, Saudi Arabia, etc...???" It's been said here many times, "Iraq's the first stop"...words to that effect. Well, as I've asked before, what the difference between the US going from on Middle East country to the next, compared to Hitler going from one European country to the next? As for the blonde hair, blue contacts and goose stepping, considering you're blindly following Der Fuhrer President Bush, that's exactly what those who followed Hitler looked like...if the shoe fits.
.....Since I have your attention, maybe you can elaborate on where I blamed the Jews for anything. If anything, I've made it clear I agreed with their position, even going so far as stating I didn't necessarily agree with smike's position on Israel. Oh, it's true, the occupation of the West Bank is illegal, but Sharone has tried to settle things there, even if it was a superficial attempt. Many Israelis believe Israel should give up on the West Bank, to give it back...however, there are issues, like Jerusalem, and Bethlehem...but for themost part, most Jews do not oppose giving up the West Bank...so there's got to be something there. Right now, the West Bank is being used as a bargaining chip, it's being kept for spite, same with some parts of the Golan Heights...which some will be returned to Syria eventually, soon I suspect. There's lot of talk over here, in Israel, about some concessions being made to gain peace between Syria and Israel...which would also bring some peace between Lebanon and Israel as well. Will it happen, you can never tell for sure over here, but that's the word we're hearing. Now, the Gaza Strip, that's a completely different matter, one that will be settled apart from the West Bank and Golan Heights issues. Now, you don't have to agree, nor do you have to comment...but I'll take the word of those living in Israel over you sitting in your Lay-Z-Boy...D'
