First off, sorry about the Sharks demise. I know how that sh## hurts.
Second, I also harbor feelings of ill-will toward the Republicans who unjustly persecuted Clinton, and who have no clue about truly conservative, constructive political argument. I'm not going to go into detail on that, because I am currently backing the Republican candidate for President, until the Dems provide a rational, respectable alternative.
Bush is doing just fine in the opinion-polls, regardless of how our mission in Iraq and the larger War On Terror is portrayed by the media. In this split electorate, the votes are almost 50-50, with 3% going to the pesky Nader. It's anyone's race, and I'm curious to see how the two candidates bring it down the stretch.
If Kerry grabs John Mclain as VP, that will be a pickle. Lots can change in Iraq, or in the US for that matter, between now and November. I think it's going to be a very interesting election year.
