They don't have the time

I know that I'm sounding like an apologist for their performance but I know one athlete and what they have to go through. Almost all of them have to hold jobs. Not just to live but in order to buy their plane ticket to a competition. Training is something they have to do on the side. Some younger athletes who have scholarships in the US have it good because they can train with in the prestigious NCAA program.

I don't support the idea of sports scholarships here but I think the government can give them more support. Heck, the government wastes millions anyway. Another 10-15 million won't hurt.
