.....Chargeable Offense to say anything negative about the Commander In Chief, depending on who's listening and what is said, the recommendation for jail time is not out of the question. Would it happen? I'm not sure how far it would be pushed but, the threat is certainly strong enough that a lot of people walk on eggshells when politics is the topic of discussion. And, depending on what the views are of the highest ranked American in the room, if he's pro-President Bush, it can go from a civil conversation to "you're wrong because I outrank you and told you you are wrong"...where the only reply is, "Yes Sir!" One of my very good friends is an American Captain, she sometimes flies off the handle a little...twice, in the middle of having wings and a drink on a Wednesday night after Ball Hockey, she's been called outside and "councilled" about sharing her opinion publicly. When she came back in, she simply told the rest of us, "Ahhh, no more talking politics guys, I really don't want to be charged for having a negative opinion of my President"...D'
