Because my whole point has been - and will continue to be - that you are criticizing our nation and our elected representatives, from the perspective of a nation whose people don't care enough to establish their own national identity, for fear it would be too much like the USA. That proves beyond any doubt that the majority of Canadians would rather be associated with an old world monarchy, and all that it implies (racial and religious bigotry, class consciousness, ruling aristocracy), than to be more like its neighbor to the south.
In the history of Canada, there's only been one democratically elected senator. And you think you have the legs to stand on to spew about "one man, one vote"?
Try it in your own country, first, before you vomit up another one of your asinine criticisms of the American political system.
