Response to No, but I've read the reviews. |

One of the weirdest movies I've ever seen, directed by David Cronenberg from J.G. Ballard's infamous novel. The eroticization of car-wrecks, and the resultant physical injuries, is not for the squeamish. You really have to have some appreciation for rank human perversity, to enjoy that movie(or book, for that matter). James Spader and Holly Hunter were pretty good, as I recall. I can't say I personally enjoyed the movie, though the book is written so well it overrides the over-the-top(and through the windshield) sickness.
Haven't seen the new "Crash," yet. My brother said it was great, and he's got a few racist-overtones to his personality, not that we all don't harbor a few pet peeves. Me, I'm still slightly p.o.'d about the OJ Simpson case, and the unequivocal support the murdering bastard received from otherwise intelligent, rational African-Americans. | |
