Response to You probably did read something like that. A simplistic, false argument? Just your style.
.....between supporting the soldiers, and supporting your President invading other countries, just because he can. Iraq is President Bush's Viet Nam, and unfortunately, with each passing day, he is sacrificing young American soldiers lives to further his personal agenda. And what's worst than that is that you and others here are not outraged that your President continues to do this. On a daily basis, President Bush willfully trades American lives for Iraqi lives...and the violence in Iraq continues. Yeah, you captured Hussein, he's out of the picture...but others continue the terror. Every time you take out one, there's another one, or two...or more willing to step up and make things worse. Sure, you'll say, "but we haven't had an attack against us since the start of the War Against Iraq"...and you're right, but you didn't have that many against continental USA before that either. And the number of attacks against continental USA by Iraq is less than the number of attacks against continental USA by Americans.
.....President Bush didn't stop the terror in Iraq, he stopped Saddam Hussein. Unfortunately, the terror continues against American soldiers, who are paying the ultimate price for President Bush's stupidity...D'
