Response to I've got "The Shield" Tivo'd but haven't started watching yet
But, I would never do such a thing. Whitaker's got a good role, chasing Vic for that old first-season atrocity. I've always liked him, too. Best role, was in "Ghost Dog: The Way of the Samurai." A tragically-ignored flick, to my way of thinking.
"Invasion" and "Surface" are still holding my attention, but neither is blowing me away. "Lost" is a lost cause, imho...when the big monster turned out to be a puff of black smoke, I had to laugh.
Guilty Pleasure Dept.--I started watching "The Ghost Whisperer" with my wife and kids, who get off on the "spooky ghost story" side of the show. They don't know I'm just fantasizing about J. Love Hewitt the whole time, not paying the slightest attention to the plotline. Well, I get a little of it, enough to know that every show is a tear-jerker for the girls, at the end.
